Beyond The Horizon

Almost two years ago I came up with an idea...Whatsoever we project/reflect towards our colleagues, managers and even CEO in any level local or international has some power over that person's behaviours eventhough his or her character...So I imagined a kind of ''transformation project'' for corporations ... As an example let us assume you work for a multinational company operates over 100 countries and employ thousand people in globe... Than each employee needs to write down three positive and negative feed backs/projections for each and every person who has close official relation with you...Such as your bussiness partners/collegues in your team, your manager, your manager's manager and eventually your local CEO. Also your local CEO's manager (could be a regional manager) and eventually multinational CEO... Every single employee has to do this survey. Ofcourse HR will be the driving force with this survey. Outcomes of this survey has to be eveluate...

Last week I gave myself a day off...It was a great relaxing day infact... After gym I went to Çinili Hamam...Last time I was in a local Turkish Bath in Konya when I went to visit Rumi and Sams in last January...It seems I really needed it... When I visited a friend house several years ago I saw Redbud Tree (Cercis Caradensis or Judas Tree) infront of her house...I remebered how I loved that view and said ''She was so luck to have a house with such view''... So I moved last September and yes there is a little Redbud Tree infront of my flat...I am in the basement so than I am able to see the tree from my living room and kitched all the time...Yes I am lucky too... Ümit Yıldız ile aynı fakültede okuduk...Yani tanışıklığımız çok eskilere dayalı...Bazı arkadaşlarla yollar yıllar sonra da olsa tekrar kesişiyor...İşte yaklaşık 20 küsür sene sonra face den bulduk birbirimizi...Hikayesi çok ilgimi çekti ve sizlerle paylaşmak istedim... Ümit 1965 yılında İstanbul Beyoğlu'nda doğmuş. Çocukluğu ve gençliği Tünel'de geçmiş. Kuledibi'ndeki Okçu Musa ilk ve ortaokulunu bitirmiş. Liseyi Özel Tarhan Lisesi'nde okumuş. İTÜ Makina Fakültesi'ne 1983 yılında girmiş. Üniversite bitince askerlik yapmış. Sonrasında da buhar kazanları yapan bir firmada çalışmış kısa bir süre. Emek Sigorta'da Risk Mühendisi olarak işe başlayıp pazarlama da görev verilince bitivermiş sigorta sektörü macerası Ümit'in... Sonrasında Şişecam'da 7 yıl kadar iş güvenliği mühendisi olarak çalışmış.
